It was founded by Steve Dolge in the year 2011 with a mission to build a stronger community that. They intend to achieve this by building stronger individuals through resources, tools, training and coaching that are superior. The gym is owned by Steve and his wife.
Second Wind CrossFit is made of spirit of friendship with a high value and significance. In fact, the gym seem more like a social club full of people that work out. To so many clients of Second Wind CrossFit, the gym is family. At Second Wind CrossFit , it is Safety first and Fitness second.
They also consider the performance standard of CrossFit HQ is the guideline that their trainers follow and they also consider all athletes as novice until they have demonstrated proficiency in Olympic lifts that are complex. At Second Wind CrossFit, the workouts are owned by an athlete and not by the coach. The coaches just usually make sure they get to know and understand the athletes personally and have proper knowledge of their members’ limitations and unique issues.
Their classes include CrossFit WOD, Boot Camp, Barbell Bettys Summer, Legends – Summer and they offer courses in Foundations and Varsity Strength. At Second Wind CrossFit, they train their members for the challenge of everyday life. Their workouts are always constantly varied. They consists of functional movements at high intensity and they include throwing balls, push ups, running, lifting weights, jumping on boxes, pull ups, rowing and so on. Their athletes are waiters, doctors, lawyers, law enforcement officials, school teachers and grandfathers.
