NLSC crossfit was established in 2011 and co-owned by Stacey F., she started her journey into the fitness world when she decided to deserve more than just being 90lbs overweight and exhausted. This one decision changed her life completely. She was a teacher who had a difficult time getting through her day without taking a nap. Her first step was to seek out a trainer who could help her overcome the horrible decisions that she had made for her health. Within 6 months, she lost 60lbs and her love for fitness was discovered, she continued her journey and became a personal trainer herself. She fell in love with Crossfit and Olympic lifting.

NLSC prides itself in being able to provide great workout for every level. It does not matter whether you are an athlete looking to improve your fitness level or whether you are just a beginner looking into crossfit for the first time, they have the right program that works for you.

In crossfit, they train for the most important sport, the sport of life! Being fit and healthy only enhances and makes life an enjoyable. Everything they do in their workout helps you become the best version you can be. You will become stronger, faster and better than you ever have before. Some of their areas of specialties include;

Crossfit: A group based and coach led work out that offers the best in warm-ups, strength and conditioning. This workout is different everyday and will get you in the best shape of your life.

HIIT: A high-intensity interval workout that is fun to do and delivers amazing fat burning results.

Boot Camp: This is a perfect workout to start with for the beginners. The workouts are primarily body weights and focus correct movement and techniques to ensure that you are getting the most out of every workout.

Open Gym: This is designed for those people who like to workout on their own. You will have full use of all the equipment along with a provided workout as well as highly trained coaches to help ensure that you are performing the movements both efficiently and correctly.

Yoko C, from Fresno, CA reviewed; it’s hard to find a crossfit box that one can feel comfortable at. This place is great where she has grown  fond of two of the trainers, Stacey and Max who are good at what they do. They really seem to focus on technique and will take the extra time with you to show you good form. She is one to easily get frustrated and for years have struggled with squats as her hip flexor bothers her when she squats too low. However since joining NLSC Crossfit, Stacey has shown her the importance of stretching her hip flexor and taking 10-15minutes before and after class and she has already seen a world of difference.
