SWEAT Strength + Cycling is a boutique group fitness and private training studio in the heart of the Rockridge Shopping District – just five blocks south of the BART station. Their mission is to make the community happier, healthier, and leaner – through fun, High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Indoor Cycling classes, and private workouts.

Their HIIT classes mix in all types of exercises, including kettlebells, spin bikes, medicine balls,  TRX style suspension straps, and bodyweight training — all in the same workout! Through circuit-style training, you’re able to progress at your own pace and get the results you want. The mix of strength training and cardio allows you to lose weight — not muscle, and to keep your metabolism high long after class.

SWEAT is more than just circuit-training and cycling workouts – it’s a community. Each class is designed to be adaptive and results-driven – regardless of gender, fitness level or experience. Everyone works against their individual fitness baseline – which then allows for a challenging and effective experience. Class dynamics also help foster a camaraderie that encourages each participant to set and reach individual fitness goals.
